School Days

Am I really old enough to have a school age child?? I mean, it just doesn't seem like he should be almost 5... much less that I have THREE children! This was his first official day of school. After much deliberation, he decided to go with a camouflage backpack with a GI Joe lunchbox. A very crucial decision, apparently! :)

Thrice Blessed

One of my many favorite pictures of one of my three favorite models! We are blessed! Ava Sophia, or Sophie as the boys call her, is doing great! She is almost a pound over her birth weight and eats like a champ. She sleeps pretty well at night too. She's two weeks old and only gets up two times at night. Not bad! I actually feel human this time around. She cries only when she is having her diaper changed or getting a bathe. It's just been a much smoother transition this time around. I am finding it difficult to get in one-on-one time with my boys, but I hope that improves as Sophie gets older. Right now, I'm having to concentrate a lot on making sure her needs are met!

Tres starts K-4 next week. We went to orientation and he seems to think it's going to be cool. He got to meet his teacher and his classmates. He also found out that he would be going on several field trips and that thoroughly excited him... especially the one to Bud's Best Cookies! That's my boy! :)

She's Here!

And she's beautiful, if I do say so myself!! Ava Sophia "Sophie" was born on August 8, 2007 ay 10:34 AM. She was 4 weeks early, but has had zero problems. She weighed 5 pounds, 1 ounce and was 19 inches long.

I am doing great! She is doing great! And we are thankful to the Lord for a healthy, gorgeous little girl!

36 weeks pregnant!

Here I am at 36 weeks pregnant. This was during my baby shower. I had unwrapped a gift with that bow on it and decided to upgrade my outfit! Been having contractions all day today. Nothing any closer than 10 minutes apart, but enough to have me timing them. Nothing like measuring your day in 10-15 minute incriments!
