Here's The Latest

We moved. Here we are at the end of moving day, saying good-bye to our first home. It was quite an emotional day for me. This was the home we moved into one month after we got married. This was the home we brought our two beautiful boys home to from the hospital. This is where we became a family. I miss it very much!

We are settling in with my parents pretty well. I mean, they live in a GINORMOUS house, so they barely even know we're here! LOL! Both the boys keep telling people that we don't have a home, though.

I'm huge. 36 weeks. I'm already dialated 1 cm and baby girl likes to put some serious pressure on me! :) Her room is set up, her clothes are washed and my bag is packed for the hospital. We are pretty darn ready. I actually have a baby shower today, so that should be fun! Any chance to get together with the ladies and eat!

Tres starts K-4 in August. We did school shopping and had fun. He still isn't sure about it, but I have no doubt that my little man will be the top student! :) And, yes, you just heard a proud Momma there.

Bryant has developed a bit of a stutter since all these changes started happening. We've been spending one-on-one time with him to help him feel settled and loved. He's such a sweet little boy and I can't stand the thought of him dealing with feelings that make him feel negative in any way!

Hank and I are closer than ever. Thank You, Lord, for my wonderful husband. I know that stressful times can be hard on a marriage, but this time has just seemed to draw us closer to one another, and I am so blessed!

So that's it for now!

Making Changes

Is it all right to admit that I am not enjoying the pregnancy as much as the other two? It's probably just the stress of packing up our house. Wait, did I forget to put that on here... WE SOLD OUR HOUSE! We had it on the market for a week, and the first person who looked, bought! Praise God! We close this Friday. We will be living with my parents until after the baby comes for a number of reasons, but mainly so that we don't rush a decision that we should make prayerfully and thoughtfully. Saving the money will be nice for a few months. That you Lord, for parents who are ALWAYS willing to help and love!

Disney Fun

The boys & I were riding around today running errands, and they were pretending to be Disney characters. Bryant kindly included me in their game by asking, "You wanna be Minnie or Daisy?" I thought for a second and said I would be Minnie. Tres thought about it for a minute, then said very matter-of-factly, "You can't be Minnie, Mom. You're too tall. You have to be Clarabelle." Thanks, Tres. I always wanted to be a gangly female cow with an annoying voice that's paired off with and likes Goofy!
